The Makers Photo Project/Kinfolk Magazine
Short on blogging time these days, but SO much to share!
I often find cool peeps/sites/objects/places by looking thru who my Twitter followers follow. This morning, I found two that made my day. I hope they inspire you a little or take you on a mini get-away. It's a grey one here in Iowa, but so much to do + so many new people visiting the shop - I dont even notice! Have a great day!
Up top, there's a screenshot from Jennifer Causey's The Maker Project - a series of photos that serve to give a behind-the-scenes peek at makers and their work and workspaces. The photography's beautiful and the makers are all so talented/interesting. I love "looking in windows" so it's a great find.
Above, here's a screenshot from Kinfolk Magazine's Journal. Again, beautiful photography - some of which is created by Jennifer Causey. The newest issue - #2, I believe - is due December 12th. Looking into getting some for the shop - but either way, get your hands on it. I think it looks like a handful of weekend entertainment.
