THE INCREDIBLY COOL FIFTY-NINE PARKS POSTER SERIES

The Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series is a celebration of our National Parks conceived by JP Boneyard, of The National Poster Retrospecticus.

Working with a range of artists, the natural beauty (and a bit of nostalgia) of each park has been illustrated in a full-color travel-style poster. Every screen printed poster is created by a prominent poster designer (DKNG, John Vogl, Eric Tan, New Antlers, Oliver Barrett, and more) and 5% of your poster purchase is donated to The National Park Service!

They're releasing open edition 18"x24" screenprints for every park and some parks will receive an 18"x24" variant that features a different time of day or another season. Select parks will also feature limited edition 24"x32" posters. So far, about 23 parks are already represented in poster form.

The posters have also been recognized by the Library of Congress who plan to archive the entire collection. The first ten releases are currently in the archives and others will join them soon.

The Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series is produced by JP Boneyard of The National Poster Retrospecticus - a yearly traveling showcase of the best in screenprint poster art. His love of travel, posters, and the parks is the inspiration for this series. New posters will be released in 2017, and there's a print club option for diehard fans.

“We’re aiming to have all 59 parks represented by the end of 2017. From there we’d love to set up a cross-country tour of the parks. We’d take the collection and move the show outside of traditional galleries. Maybe that means we could hang the show at a visitors’ center in Glacier National Park. Or picture being able to host free outdoor shows in parks like Yellowstone. That would be incredible!” he explains.*

Domestica plans to carry a selection of the posters in-store + plans are underway to host The NPR for a pop-up poster show later this year - we'll keep you posted.
